California Fish Grill will open in a 2,200-square-foot space within a building currently under construction, which was the former home of a CVS Pharmacy. Other tenants set for the development include Urbane Cafe, Luna Grill, and The Melt.

This will be an excellent location for a new California Fish Grill, considering it is in a busy shopping center anchored by Target and sits at the intersection of major roads, ensuring high visibility and traffic. The site is surrounded by key institutions like California State University, Long Beach, the VA Medical Center, and the Belmont Shore community, providing a strong and diverse customer base. After opening in Studio City last month with a plethora of special offers, Urbane Cafe appears nowhere close to slowing down its expansion throughout Los Angeles, this time with new locations coming to Long Beach and Rancho Palos Verdes.

Previously, What Now Los Angeles reported on Urbane Cafe opening new locations in Studio City at 11277 Ventura Boulevard and Long Beach at 4001 N. Lakewood Blvd., Suite 100, in the LBX Long Beach Exchange Retail. This appears to be just the beginning, considering the company has another two locations up its sleeve. Urbane Cafe will open a new location in Rancho Palos Verdes at 29131 S Western Avenue, according to the company’s website. After this, the company will focus on Long Beach, where another location will open in a brand-new building currently under construction at 650A N Bellflower Boulevard, according to Westar Associates. It’s unclear when these two locations are expected to open.

The company’s newest location is set to be a part of the Bixby Village Plaza, according to intel received by What Now Los Angeles and confirmed online by Westar Associates. It’s unclear when this location will open, but it will be in a new building currently under construction. Other new tenants joining Luna Grill include California Fish Grill, Urbane Cafe, and The Melt. Luna Grill will take up 1,800 square feet, making it the smallest tenant, along with Urbane Cafe, which has the same square footage.
