Long Beach, CA- California Fish Grill, a fast-casual seafood restaurant chain founded in 1998 in Gardena, is getting ready to open a new location in Long Beach at 650A N Bellflower Blvd. Headquartered in Newport Beach, the company operates over 58 locations across California, Arizona, and Nevada. Now it is getting ready to open another location, this time in the Bixby Village Plaza, according to details from Westar Associates. California Fish Grill will open in a 2,200-square-foot space within a building currently under construction, which was the former home of a CVS Pharmacy. Other tenants set for the development include Urbane Cafe, Luna Grill, and The Melt. This will be an excellent location for a new California Fish Grill, considering it is in a busy shopping center anchored by Target and sits at the intersection of major roads, ensuring high visibility and traffic. The site is surrounded by key institutions like California State University, Long Beach, the VA Medical Center, and the Belmont Shore community, providing a strong and diverse customer base. It’s unclear when this location will open.
